Sandy Barn Cottages

Located on the edge of Bodmin Moor, our dog-friendly, self-catering cottages are perfect for getting away from it all and having a relaxing holiday in Cornwall.

Situated at the end of a private lane, on the edge of Cornwall’s highest village, Sandy Barn Cottages consist of four attractive barn conversions which together form a secluded courtyard of fine old granite buildings. The cottages now provide a tranquil and comfortable haven for exploring North Cornwall in all weathers. And with four-legged guests especially welcome, there are also an abundance of walks on your doorstep.

Our family have farmed on the Moor for over 30 years, and together with our two children Evie & Freddie, plus friendly cairn terrier Murphy, we live in the fourth cottage in the courtyard. We both work locally on the Moor and are therefore always on hand to help with any questions or requirements you may have. And, with the help of Freddie’s culinary skills, we always ensure there’s a scrumptious Cream Tea waiting for you when you arrive!
