Nestling in the corner of the courtyard, one-bedroomed High View is the smallest of the four 200 year old former farm buildings. With its canopied porch and sun-trap seating area, High View is not over-looked and allows guests to sit back and relax inside or out.
Inside, the traditional slate floored Living Room has a large wood-burning stove providing a cosy excuse for opening a bottle of wine and settling down in front of the flickering flames. There are a selection of games, including the Cornwall version of Monopoly to test your memory from day trips out, and a selection of fiction and non-fiction books. The Kitchen, which is found down a single shallow step at the rear of the property, is compact but well equipped, and the sky-light window enables guests to spot a whole collection of native birds.
With double doors opening onto a secluded private courtyard, there is also a BBQ and seating for al fresco dining and the chance to enjoy lazy evenings watching the sun set over the fields.
Upstairs, the Double Bedroom is dual aspect with views towards the North Cornish Coast to the rear. With an extra large shower, the Bathroom has also been cleverly designed to give as much space as possible.
Free Wi-Fi available, and all crisp white Egyptian cotton bedlinen, hairdryer and bath towels are included. A starter basket of logs is supplied free with each booking and subsequent bags of logs charged at £4 per bag. For four legged guests, the cottages are nestled between open fields so ideal for morning and evening jaunts, and an easy, circular walk up to the Moor and back to the village (via The Old Inn if you so wish!
